Samsung is prepping up towards the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone. In the last few months, we already have seen multiple pieces of information regarding this handset. Back in April, the renders and specifications of the Galaxy S21 FE were leaked online. The renders showcased us the design aspect of the handset ahead of launch. Additionally, the phone was spotted on Geekbench last month. The Geekbench listing revealed the device hardware specifications. Samsung’s official Mexico website had also accidentally listed the S21 FE moniker in April. Now, in a recent development, the pricing of the Galaxy S21 FE is leaked online. The leaked pricing details suggest that the S21 FE will be affordable than the last year’s Galaxy S20 FE.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Price Revealed
The pricing information of the S21 FE comes courtesy of a Korean news media outlet Herald Corp. According to the outlet, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be priced between 700,000 to 800,000 won (Rs 45,846 – Rs 52,395). The S20 FE last year was launched at around 899,800 won (Rs 58,926). With these leaked pricing details, we can conclude the fact that this time Samsung is aiming to lower down the S21 FE pricing by around 100$ (Rs. 7,279). This significant price reduction is done by Samsung because the brand is not launching the Note series this year.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Specifications
If we have a recap of the rumoured specs of the S21 FE, the device is expected to sport a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. The display panel is tipped have a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood could be Snapdragon 888 chipset. The phone might pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There could be a top-end model as well which might ship with 8GB RAM + 256GB onboard storage. On the software side of things, the S21 FE is tipped to run Android 11 out of the box.
Dimensions-wise, the handset is supposed to measure at around 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm. The device is supposed to feature a triple-camera setup. The handset might incorporate a 12MP primary main camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The whole package might draw power from a 4500mAh battery. The device’s production is tipped to start around July. The phone might be available in Gray, Light Green, Light Violet, and White colour options.
