Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Spotted on Bluetooth SIG, Geekbench and Indian BIS Certifications; Galaxy Tab A9 Live Image Also Appears Ahead of Launch

After introducing the Galaxy Tab S9 series a couple of weeks back, Samsung now appears to be prepping up for the launch of the Galaxy Tab A9 series. The Galaxy Tab A9 was recently spotted at FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance certification. The FCC certification revealed the dimensions, battery capacity, and schematics of the tablet. Now, in a recent development, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A9+ has received the Bluetooth SIG as well as BIS certification. Additionally, the tablet has made an appearance on Geekbench, confirming a few hardware specifications.

Galaxy Tab A9+ Appears on Geekbench

The Bluetooth SIG listing reveals that the Galaxy Tab A9+ carries the model number as SM-X216B. Furthermore, the certification also confirms that the tablet will have Bluetooth v5.1 support. The tablet also has received BIS certification, which does suggest us that it could launch in India in future. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Tab A9+ will be powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC which will be accompanied by an Adreno 619 GPU. The tablet will pack up to 4GB of RAM. It will run Android 13 out of the box with One UI 5.1 skin on top.

In a piece of related news, the Galaxy Tab A9 also has received the SafetyKorea certification which discloses the live images of the tablet. As seen in the images, the tablet will have a single front-facing camera. Furthermore, the SafetyKorea certification also reveals the model number of the Galaxy Tab A9 as SM-X115N. As mentioned above, the Tab A9 already have received the Wi-Fi Alliance as well as FCC certification. The later certification had already revealed that the Tab A9 will pack a 5,000mAh battery which will support 15W fast charging. Furthermore, the tablet will measure 210.7mm in length and 124.7mm in width as revealed by the FCC certification document.

The device will feature a single rear-facing camera, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will have LTE support, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth support. Currently, the launch date of the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Tab A9+ is yet to be revealed. Samsung had introduced the Galaxy Tab A8 in December 2021. Going by the same launch time frame, we can expect the Galaxy Tab A9 series to debut in December this year.
