The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 has been teased on the Amazon India website. The teaser image confirms that the tablet is soon officially launching in India. Amazon has also announced the launch date of the Galaxy Tab A9 in the country.

Previously, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 was spotted on multiple certification websites. As per reports, the upcoming tablet from Samsung will offer both, WiFi-only and cellular variants. Samsung is also expected to launch a 5G variant of the Galaxy Tab A9.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Launch Date Confirmed

Amazon has announced the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 in India. The shopping platform released a teaser stating that a new Galaxy Tab is ‘Coming Soon’ on the website. Amazon says that the new Samsung tablet will be unveiled on October 5.

The two teaser images shared by Amazon however do not specify the exact model of the upcoming Samsung tablet. However, a deeper inspection of the Amazon website reveals that the teaser image is associated with the Galaxy Tab A9.

The image also showcases a blurry promotional picture of the Samsung tablet, which matches the leaked images of the Galaxy Tab A9 that surfaced last month. The design is very similar to the Galaxy Tab A8, with a uniform bezel on each side, and a single rear camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 was also spotted on the Google Play Console last month, which revealed key specifications of the upcoming Samsung tablet. As per the listing, the tablet will feature a 720p display. The tablet will also feature an unknown Mediatek chipset named MT8781, which has not been featured on any device yet. This new processor could be a tweaked version of the Mediatek Helio G99 chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will run on OneUI 5 based on Android 13. The tablet will also feature 4GB RAM, along with 64GB storage. Samsung is also expected to provide a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9: Expected Pricing

Samsung’s A-series of tablets are generally targeted in the budget and mid-range segment. Previously, the Galaxy Tab A8 was priced at Rs 16,999 during the launch in early 2022. From the leaked specifications so far, we can expect the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy A9 to be around Rs 25,000.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will face fierce competition from the Mi Pad 6, priced at Rs 27,000. OnePlus will also be launching the OnePlus Pad Go, which is expected to be priced below Rs 30,000 as well. The Galaxy Tab A9 is expected to be released exclusively on Amazon.
