Samsung could be introducing the Galaxy Tab A9 series tablets such as the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+ in the coming few days. Both these devices have received the FCC certification a few days back. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab A9+ was spotted at Geekbench and it even received the Bluetooth SIG and India’s BIS certification last month. The live images of the Galaxy Tab A9 were also revealed by the SafetyKorea recently. Now, ahead of launch, the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+ have received the NBTC certification.
Galaxy Tab A9, Galaxy Tab A9+ Receives NBTC Certification
The NBTC certification confirms the moniker as Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+. The prior possesses a model number as SM-X115, whereas the latter carries a model number as SM-216B as revealed by the certification. Apart from the model number and moniker no other details of the Galaxy Tab A9 series are revealed by the NBTC listing.
The previous leaks courtesy of Geekbench listing suggest that the Galaxy Tab A9+ will be powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC. The device is expected to pack up to 4GB of RAM. As for the software, the tablet is expected to boot Android 13 out of the box with One UI skin on top. As mentioned above, the Galaxy Tab A9+ already has received approval from the FCC. The FCC listing had confirmed that the tablet will measure 257.11×168.66×6.94mm in terms of dimensions. Furthermore, the certification also revealed that the tablet will pack a 7,040mAh battery (Typical) which will support 15W fast charging.
The Galaxy Tab A9 was also spotted at FCC certification a couple of days back. The certification confirmed that the tablet will measure 210.7mm in length and 124.7mm in width. Furthermore, the listing also revealed that the device will have a 3.5mm audio jack, a 5,100mAh battery, and 25W fast charging.
The other specifications of the Galaxy Tab A9 such as the display size, camera configuration, and storage details remain unknown currently. Additionally, the launch date of this upcoming tablet lineup is yet to be revealed by Samsung. Considering that the Galaxy Tab A9 are getting new certification each passing day, we can expect them to debut to soon.
The Galaxy Tab A9 will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy Tab A8. The Galaxy Tab A8 made its debut in December 2021. The device features a 10.5-inch display, Unisoc T618 SoC, up to 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 7,040mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging.
