When it comes to premium Android tablets, Samsung is the only main player that has dominated the segment for years now. This year, the company announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series 一 the Tab S9, S9 Plus, and the S9 Ultra. In the meanwhile, the company is also gearing up to launch a few mid-range and affordable tablets under the Galaxy S and Galaxy A lineup.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series and Galaxy Tab A9 series devices have been in the news for a while now and devices from these series have been now spotted on the Google Play Listing revealing the SoC, RAM, and OS details of the devices.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab A9 Listed on Google Play
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE with gst9fewifi model number has been listed. This is the Wi-Fi-only version of the device. This mid-range tab has been listed with 6GB of RAM running on Android 13 operating system. As for the SoC, the device is listed to feature Samsung s5e8835 SoC, which is the Exynos 1380 chip running with 4 ARM Cortex A78 cores and four A55 cores. This SoC will be coupled with the Mali G68 GPU. Further, the listing also confirms the tab to come with 1440 x 2304 pixels resolution and 280 DPI pixel density. The render of the tablet confirms a single rear camera setup as well.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab A9 with gta9 model number was also listed on the Google Play Console with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and Mali G57 GPU. This budget-centric tablet is listed with 4GB of RAM and it is also running on Android 13 OS. The tablet will feature 800 x 1340 pixel resolution. The tablet’s front view showcases a front camera and a sizeable bezel on top and bottom.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE: What We Know So Far
The company is said to launch two tablets in the Tab S9 series 一 Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+. Based on the leaks, the Tab S9 FE will be launched in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. On the other hand, the Tab S9 FE+ will launch in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE will start at Rs 63,000 in India and will be offered in Grey, Silver, Light Pink, and Light Green colourways. The tablet is expected to launch in Q4 2024.
