Samsung Galaxy Tab A and S series are more mainstream lineup but it also has a lineup of rugged Android tablets. It is the Galaxy Tab Active series, which the company is ready to refresh with the Galaxy Tab Active 5. The tablet has been spotted on various certification websites like FCC, Bluetooth SIG, and SafetyKorea so far. In the latest leak, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 detailed specifications and product renders have been revealed.

The folks over at MSPowerUser have shared Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 renders and detailed specifications. The leak reveals all the crucial details and leaves ahead of the imminent launch. The new tablet will be the first release in the series since the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro launch in 2022.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 has bigger bezels on all four sides and a design that screams durability. The tablet is shown with three physical navigation buttons on the chin in the portrait orientation. The back panel has Samsung branding and offers a tough look.
The tablet is shown with an S Pen stylus and a USB Type-C port. It also has a customizable Yellow-coloured Active Key on the side. This particular button can be customized to trigger specific functionalities based on one’s needs. The power button and volume rockers will be placed above this customisable button.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 is tipped to sport an 8-inch TFT LCD panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has a MIL-STD-810G rating for durability and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It will also get an IP68-rated S Pen and 1.2m anti-shock protection with the inbox protective cover.
The tablet will have an Exynos 1380 processor and dual SIM/single-SIM variants. It is reported to weigh 433 grams and measure 126.8 x 213.8mm x 10.1mm in dimensions.
