Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 5K CAD Renders
Steve Aka OnLeaks, a renowned tipster, has collaborated with Smartprix to reveal the 5K CAD renders of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone. It is revealed that the foldable smartphone will come with flat edges and a boxy frame similar to the Galaxy S24 series smartphones. OnLeaks has revealed the renders of the Dark Gray shade of the smartphone, which is likely to be known under the Phantom Black marketing name.
The renders also show three microphones and a speaker grille. The USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and primary microphone will be present on the bottom of the device. The antenna markings will be present on all four sides of the smartphone. The power button and volume rockers will be placed on the right side of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The fingerprint scanner will be embedded in the power button of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The left side of the device will be clean, except for the SIM card tray.
As per the renders, the phone will house a triple rear camera setup (with the possibility of a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens) alongside an LED flash. The centred punch hole cutout will house the selfie camera on the outer screen. We can also expect an under-the-display selfie camera. The report adds that the device will measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm when unfolded and have a 7.6-inch inner screen.
The outer screen will continue to measure 6.2 inches without any increase in size similar to the inner screen. The previous rumours of Samsung equipping the device with a dedicated stylus slot have been proven wrong with the renders.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Expected Specifications
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to feature a Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for both the inner and outer displays. The inner screen will sport a peak brightness of 2600 nits and will be made using ultra-thin glass.
The smartphone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Made for Galaxy SoC. The chipset is said to pair with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It could run One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box. The phone could also support seven major OS updates and seven years of security updates, much like the Galaxy S24 models. The phone might be backed by a 4,400mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging tech.
