The Finals has a virtual game show concept inspired by the likes of The Hunger Games and Gladiator movies. Each match in the game has multiple teams with three members each. These teams compete with each other to collect cash boxes and to become the first ones to deposit a certain amount of sum.

The game has three different character classes: Light, Medium, and Heavy. Each class has its own set of abilities and weapons. Your character model will also change to reflect the class you have opted for. While all of this sounds like it is just another battle-royale type first-person shooter, there is one significant difference that sets it apart from others.

The Finals lets you crash through walls and ceilings, destroy anything and everything in sight, and build bridges and barricades. In other words, you can destroy everything and anything that you come across. This is what has helped the game generate all the buzz in the gaming community and led to a successful open beta release. It even became the most wish-listed game on Steam.
