The Full Monty, a 1997 blockbuster is returning to the small screen. The original 1997 film was nominated for three Oscars and received one. Additionally, the film was nominated for and won a BAFTA Award. The movie was also nominated for many other awards. With all of the original cast from the enduring movie returning for the new series, The Full Monty is receiving a fresh TV relaunch on Disney Plus. The popular movie, which came out in 1997, was about a group of jobless guys in Sheffield who created a striptease show to raise money.
The same people who created the BAFTA-winning original film have also produced an original series for Disney+. The eight-episode Sheffield-based series, which takes place 25 years after the first blockbuster movie, will follow the same group of brothers as they traverse Sheffield’s post-industrial landscape and the society’s failing healthcare, educational, and job sectors.

What happened to the brothers after they put their kit back on will also be revealed in the comedy-drama, which will also explore their happier, sillier, and more desperate periods. The 90-second trailer introduces Talitha Wing (Alex Rider), who will portray Destiny Schofield, Gaz’s adolescent daughter, and showcases the entire returning ensemble cast of the show.
