CES 2024 has kickstarted in Las Vegas, where companies are showcasing their upcoming tech products. The highlight of the event so far has been the introduction of new AI-powered laptops from ASUS, Lenovo, HP, and other major prominent players.
Samsung and LG presented their advancements in TV display technologies with transparent TVs. Brands like TCL and Hisense have also unveiled their mini LED displays. Let’s have a look at the best TVs from CES 2024.

Samsung’s transparent TV uses a new micro LED panel, where the display components are directly deposited on a glass panel. This makes the TV appear like a completely transparent piece of glass. The panel comes with a modular design which can be personalized in any shape and size. However, Samsung has not released the details about the commercial availability of its transparent TV.

The LG Signature OLED T is a 77-inch transparent TV that uses a contrast film panel on a glass surface. It uses the same design language as the LG Rollable TV, which was showcased last year at CES 2023. LG says that customers will be able to buy this transparent TV by the end of this year, which is the biggest highlight of this product.

Samsung also announced its new series of glare-free TVs, which are 20% brighter than other models. The screen of these TV sets has a special hard coating that reduces the typical glare effect on OLED screens. The Samsung SD TV Series (not to be confused with standard definition) is available in sizes ranging between 42 inches and 83 inches.

The Hisense 110UX is another massive TV showcased at CES 2024, with a 110-inch mini LED screen. This TV can go twice as bright as its TCL counterpart at 10,000 nits. This is a different model than their 8K 110-inch TV, which was the talk of the show during CES 2023. Hisense just knows how to step up the game at CES!
CES makes you realize that the display technology has no limitations. It just keeps getting more immersive offering a pleasant sight to our eyes, while we enjoy the experience from our couch. Apart from Samsung’s transparent TV, all the models mentioned in this article will make their way to the consumer markets this year.
