Vi, formerly known as Vodafone Idea, has a host of interesting prepaid plans across different telecom circles in India. The telecom operator has different plans that start from Rs 19 and go up to Rs 2,595. The company also has a Rs 99 prepaid plan that offer some good benefits. However, the plan was earlier restricted to some circles. Now, the Vi Rs 99 prepaid recharge plan is now available across the country. Here’s what you need to know about Vi Rs 99 prepaid plan.

The entry-level prepaid pack is now available across all circles. These include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chennai, Delhi, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Kolkata, Maharashtra and Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West, and West Bengal. The pan India availability of the prepaid plan was first reported by OnlyTech.

The prepaid plan comes with unlimited voice calls on local and STD networks. It also offers free national roaming. The pack offers 1GB of 4G data for the entire period of validity. The pack also comes with 100 local and national SMS. The Rs 99 prepaid plan is available with a validity of 18 days.

Meanwhile, the company has introduced a new benefit known as ‘Weekend Data Rollover’. The new offer allows users to carry forward the unused data of their prepaid plans on the weekend. The telco is offering this benefit under a promotional offer from October 19th to January 17th, 2021. The ‘Weekend Data Rollover’ benefit will be only available on VIL prepaid unlimited calling and daily data packs of Rs 249 and above.

For example, if you have a daily limit of 2GB data and you are consuming only 1GB every day then the leftover data from Monday to Friday will be carry forward to Saturday and Sunday and you can use that data as per your requirement, but only on weekend.
