It’s been a while since Reliance Jio and Airtel were offering Disney+ Hotstar VIP plans for their customers in India. To give a resilient competition Vi (Vodafone Idea) has now introduced four new plans which now offers a 1-year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription. The newly launched plans cover prepaid as well as postpaid users base. The Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription costs as low as Rs. 399 which now comes bundled with select Vi recharge plans that even include other benefits. With this subscription you can stream live sports, HotStar specials, Disney+ movies, and watch Live T20 matches (IPL 2021). Let’s check more details on this ahead:
Vi Vodafone Idea Plans Now Offer 1 Year Disney+ Hotstar VIP Subscription
The newly introduced Vi Vodafone Idea prepaid plan price is set to Rs 401, Rs 501, Rs 601 and Rs 801. With the Rs 401 base plan, you get a Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription, unlimited voice calls, 3GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and an additional 16GB of data. Do note that the validity of Rs 401 is for 28 days period only. With the Rs 501 plan, you get 75GB data valid for 56 days, and a free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription worth Rs 399. The Rs 501 pack is the data-only plan, and you do not get any additional unlimited voice calls, or SMS per day.
In Rs 601 pack you get 3GB data per day, 100 SMS messages per day, and 32GB of extra data. The validity of the plan is for 56 days. Last but not least, with Rs 801 plan you get an unlimited voice calls option, 100 SMS messages per day, 3GB data, and an additional 48GB data. The validity of the Rs 801 plan is for 84 days.
The prepaid users will need to recharge with the eligible offers to activate the Disney+ HotStar VIP subscription. You will need to download the Disney+ HotStar app and login with the Vi number. If you are a Vi postpaid subscriber using Rs. 499 plan or above, you are even eligible for this new offer. To get the one-year Disney+ HotStar VIP subscription, postpaid customers will need to tap on the Disney+ HotStar card in the Vi app, and check if they have an eligible plan. With the newly introduced four prepaid plans Vi is even offering free Vi Movies & TV subscriptions during the validity period.
With these newly introduced plans, it’s quite sure that Vi (Vodafone and Idea) will give a competition to Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, who have been offering similar Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for its user base for a long time.
