Vivo is preparing for the launch of a new T-series smartphone in India. It previously unveiled the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G. It is now ready to add a third member to the series called Vivo T2 Pro 5G. The smartphone has been part of official teasers and leaks in the past few days. We finally have an official confirmation regarding the launch date as well.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G Launch Date Revealed
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is now confirmed to launch in India on September 22. It means we will get to meet the new Vivo T-series smartphone next week. The launch is scheduled to take place at 12 PM IST. The launch poster further confirms it will be sold via Flipkart, Vivo E-Store, and offline stores across the country.
The poster further gives us a glimpse of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G design. It is shown with a curved display and a centred punch-hole selfie camera. There is a dual rear camera setup along with “Aura Light” and “OIS Portrait” branding. Aura Light is a feature we saw on the Vivo V27 Pro as well. It intelligently detects low ambient light and adds brightness for radiant and delicate complexions.
One can also see the “Professional Portrait” branding on the phone’s top frame. It is quite evident that Vivo’s focus with the T2 Pro 5G is on the portrait photography performance. This is the reason it is offering features like optical image stabilization and low-light detection for portrait shots.
We at MySmartPrice also shared some of the important Vivo T2 Pro 5G details exclusively last week. Our report revealed the T2 Pro 5G will arrive with a 120Hz 3D curved display panel. It will have a 1200Hz touch sampling rate as well. The rear camera module on the phone will be headlined by a 64MP sensor. It will have support for optical image stabilization and 4K video recording.
It will be a lightweight device but the exact weight is unknown. The smartphone thickness is expected to be around 7.4mm. This is pretty much what we know about the new Vivo T-series smartphone. There are no details on the pricing yet but for your reference, the Vivo T2 5G costs Rs 18,999 for the base 6GB/128GB model.
