Vivo is gearing up to refresh the V-series in India. The company has teased the launch of the Vivo V25 series launch. The company’s brand ambassador Virat Kohli teased the device’s design and confirmed some key details. MySmartPrice also revealed the key specifications of the V25 Pro, which will launch alongside the vanilla V25.

The two smartphones are expected to launch in August 2022. Ahead of the official launch date, the V25 and V25 Pro have been spotted on the Google Play Console certification website. Let’s take a look at the Vivo V25 and V25 Pro specifications, features and other details revealed so far.

Vivo V25 Series Google Play Console Listing

Vivo V25 series is expected to launch very soon in India. The company has not revealed the V25 series launch date at the moment. While we wait for some details on that front, a new listing on the Google Play Console has revealed the specs of both devices. Starting with the vanilla V25, the phone has the model number V2202. According to the Google Play Console listing, the phone draws power from a MediaTek MT6877 SoC, which is the Dimensity 900 chipset. It is paired with a Mali G68 GPU.

The V25 has a Full HD+ resolution display and 8GB of RAM. We can expect Vivo to launch the phone with more RAM and storage options.

The V25 Pro, on the other hand, draws power from a MediaTek MT6893 chipset, which is the Dimensity 1300 SoC. The processor is paired with a Mali G77 GPU. It has 8GB of RAM under the hood as well. The phone is expected to launch with up to 12GB of RAM. Both phones will run Android 12 out of the box. Like all Vivo phones, the V25 series will run with a layer of Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.

Further, the Google Play Listing reveals that the phone has a Full HD+ display. The exact screen size remains unknown. The images listed on the Google Play Console website reveal that the V25 has a waterdrop notch at the top of the display, whereas the V25 Pro has a hole-punch cutout. That being said, we have to inform our readers that the product images on Google Search Console listings are sometimes mere placeholder, so the end product might vary when it comes to looks (and, sometimes, even specifications).

Some other details of the V25 Pro revealed so far include a 64MP triple-camera setup, 66W fast charging support and a 32MP front camera. The phone will have a starting price of under Rs 40,000 in India.
