Vivo X80 and X80 Pro+ Spotted on BIS India Certification, Vivo X80 with Dimensity 9000 SoC Listed on Geekbench

Vivo is gearing up to launch the flagship Vivo X80 series phones in China. The brand is expected to launch the Vivo X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro Plus. The Vivo X80 was recently spotted on Google Play Console revealing Dimensity 9000 SoC and 8GB RAM. The phone is also expected to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and support for 80W fast charging.

The Vivo X80 Pro Plus device was previously spotted on GeekBench revealing Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and now, the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro+ devices have been spotted on BIS India Certification hinting at an imminent launch in India as well. The Vivo X80 series is also tipped to come with a custom image chipset as well. Also, the Vivo X80 device was spotted on Geekbench confirming more specifications. The Vivo X80 series is tipped to launch in China next week. and later on, the phones are also expected to make their way to India.

Vivo X80 and X80 Pro+ Spotted on BIS

The Vivo X80 device with V2144 model number and Vivo X80 Pro Plus with V2145 model number has been currently spotted on the BIS database. Both these devices were previously spotted on the multiple certifications GeekBench, Google Play Console database, and more. Since the device has been listed on BIS, we can expect the phone to launch in India soon in the coming weeks. But, first, the device will launch in China and only after the Chinese launch, the phone is expected to go global including Inida.

The Vivo X80, which was spotted on the Google Play console recently was also seen on the Geekbench database confirming the Dimensity 9000 SoC, 12GB RAM, and Android 12 OS.

Vivo X80 and X80 Pro+ Specifications

The Vivo X80 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC with the prime X2 core clocked at 3.05GHz along with three Cortex-A710 performance cores with a clock speed of 2.85GHz. There are four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The SoC is paired with a 10-core Mali-710 GPU. The phone is tipped to feature a 120Hz 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The X80 is likely to come with a 4500mAh battery unit with support for 80W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the phone is said to feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom. Selfies are expected to be handled by a 32MP snapper.

On the other hand, the Vivo X80 Pro+will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It will come with a 6.78-inch LTPO 2.0 E5 AMOLED with Quad HD+ display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The phone is tipped to offer a 50MP + 48MP (IMX598) + 50MP (JN1) + 50MP (JN2) quad-camera setup along with a 50MP selfie camera.
