The company has recently posted a teaser on Twitter implying that it is readying itself for the launch of the Vivo Y72 5G. Additionally, the Vivo Y72 5G has also gained the required NBTC certification ahead of launch. The NBTC listing doesn’t reveal any detailed specifications of the device, and it only showcases the model number the phone bears. Let’s check out more details:

The official Vivo Thailand Twitter account has posted a short 10-second video that suggests that the Chinese smartphone maker could launch the Y72 5G in the upcoming days. The Vivo Y72 5G which is certified by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has the model number V2041.

If we go by the current information available, the Vivo Y72 5G should sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 chipset. The phone is said to ship with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It might run Android 10 out of the box with Vivo’s custom Funtouch 10.0 UI.

As far as the imaging goes, the device might sport a triple camera setup. The main primary camera the device could include is said to be of 48MP. The primary camera is supposed to be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video-calling, the smartphone is expected to feature a 32MP camera.
