Xiaomi 12 series will debut in China on December 28. The company is expected to launch at least three new devices, which include the vanilla 12, 12X and 12 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the company has started teasing the features of its upcoming flagship devices. While most of the specs are yet to be announced officially, the rumour mill made the wait shorter courtesy of a new leak. A new poster has leaked the complete specs of the Xiaomi 12. Not just that, it has also leaked the pricing details of the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi 12 specifications, price and other details.
Xiaomi 12 price, specifications
Xiaomi 12 will launch in three storage options, according to a new leak. The base 8GB + 128GB variant will be priced at CNY 3699 (roughly Rs 43,700). There is also 8GB + 256GB variant priced at CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 47,200). Lastly, the top-tier 12GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 4,399 (roughly Rs 52,000). Tipster Panda, who leaked the poster, has also listed the specs of the device.
It will have a hole-punch display with 6.28-inch screen size. The display has a Full HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. Other display features include HDR10+ certification, a Display Mate A+ rating, Dolby Vision, etc.
The phone draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Xiaomi’s upcoming phone will pack a 4500 mAh battery with 67W wired charging. The phone will also support 30W wireless charging.
On the back, the phone will feature a triple-camera setup with 50MP /1.28” sensor with OIS support. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide camera with a 123-degree FoV and a third telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The zoom lens supports 10x hybrid zoom and 30x digital zoom. The device runs Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box. It comes with features like NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, X-axis linear motor, etc.
While most of the specs seem true, it is best to take the leaked pricing details with a pinch of salt until officially confirmed.
