Xiaomi didn’t reveal the Xiaomi 12 Lite launch date but we can expect the handset to make a debut this month itself. The launch teaser shared by the company shows green, and pink, colours. Last week, the renders of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite surfaced on the web showcases the device in the Pink, Green, and Black colour options.
Xiaomi 12 Lite: Specifications and expected price
The Xiaomi 12 Lite was recently spotted on Orange’s Spain website ahead of the launch, courtesy of Roland Quandt. The e-commerce listing reveals that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite will offer a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 402ppi pixel density, and 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel features HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certification as per the listing.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and an integrated Adreno 642L GPU. The device will boot Android 12 out of the box, but as usual, we can expect it to come with MIUI 13 skin on top.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite, as per the listing, will offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 108MP primary shooter. The high-resolution sensor on the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series device will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The Xiaomi 12 Lite will rely on a 32MP front snapper for selfies and video calls.
The upcoming Xiaomi 12 series device will be equipped with a 4300mAh battery unit and will support 67W fast charging. It will also offer a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio. It will weigh 173grams and measure 159.30 x 73.70 x 7.29mm as per the listing.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite will be priced at €506 (approx Rs 41,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant in the European market.
