Xiaomi is launching the Xiaomi 12S series, in collaboration with Leica, on July 4 in the Chinese market. The Xiaomi 12S series for the Chinese market is expected to consist of three devices – the Xiaomi 12S, the Xiaomi 12S Pro, and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Ahead of the launch, we have now spotted the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi 12s Pro with model number 2206122SC on the Geekbench certification database.
The Xiaomi 12S Pro Geekbench database listing reveals the key specifications of the device including the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Let us take a closer look at the Xiaomi 12S Pro Geekbench scores and key specifications.
Xiaomi 12S Pro Chinese Variant Visits Geekbench Ahead of Launch!
The Xiaomi 12S Pro with the model number 2206122SC appeared on the Geekbench 5 database. Going by the listing, the upcoming Xiaomi flagship managed to score 1323 points in the single-core round of the test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, the scores was recorded as 4171 points.
The Geekbench listing for the device also reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with codename Taro, 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration, and Adreno 730 GPU. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Xiaomi 12S Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is the fastest processor under Qualcomm’s portfolio as of now and it is manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process.
The benchmark listing further reveals that the device will come in a 12GB RAM configuration. Though, we can expect Xiaomi to launch an 8GB RAM variant as well. Also, the handset will boot Android 12 out of the box. Although, as usual, we can expect to see MIUI 13 skin on top of Android.
