Xiaomi has launched its much-awaited Xiaomi 14 Series in China. The company has launched two new devices, the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which have debuted the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in the smartphone market.
The Xiaomi 14 Series also marks the inauguration of HyperOS, which has replaced MIUI after 13 long years. The latest Xiaomi flagships continue to feature Leica-powered cameras. Xiaomi has also implemented a manually adjustable aperture on the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

The Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro both offer four colour options: White, Black, Green, and Pink. The devices will be available for purchase in China starting October 31.
Xiaomi 14 Series Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro share similar specifications. Both flagship devices feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The Xiaomi 14 comes with a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED screen, with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also gets Gorilla Glass protection for scratch resistance. The device features a triple rear camera setup, powered by Leica.
The primary camera is a 50MP sensor, with OIS. The secondary camera is a 50MP ultrawide lens, alongside a 50MP telephoto lens capable of 3.2X optical zoom. The selfie camera is a 32MP sensor, with support for 4K video recording.
The Xiaomi 14 is powered by a 4610mAh battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging. The device has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric unlock.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is the elder sibling and gets multiple upgrades. The device features a larger 6.73-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also features a slight curve and comes with Xiaomi’s own Longjing Glass for protection.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro features a Leica-backed triple rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor with a variable aperture of f/1.6 to f/2.2. It also supports OIS. The secondary camera is a 50MP ultrawide lens, and the third camera is a 50MP telephoto shooter with 3.2X optical zoom and OIS. The selfie camera is a 32MP sensor.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro also gets a slightly larger battery with a capacity of 4880mAh. It supports 120W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging. Just like its younger sibling, the device features an IP68 rating.
Xiaomi has also launched a Titanium Edition of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. It features a titanium-based body while carrying the same set of specifications.
