The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to launch in China before November 11 as per the details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The Xiaomi 13 lineup was introduced in December last year, and as per the source, this series reportedly achieved the sales target in just 9 months. Due to this specific reason, the Xiaomi 14 series announcement may happen in November instead of December.

Xiaomi 14 Could Launch in China Before Double Eleven Sales Event

The tipster adds that Xiaomi intends to introduce the Xiaomi 14 lineup before the Double Eleven sales event, which is also known as Single’s Day. For those unaware, the Single Day is a Chinese unofficial holiday and shopping season, which is celebrated on November 11 each year in China.

The other reason for the early announcement of the Xiaomi 14 series could be because of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is expected to launch on October 24. It is believed that Xiaomi will be the first manufacturer in the world to make use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in its Xiaomi 14 series. As far as the specifications of the Xiaomi 14 go, it is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera. The primary 50MP sensor could be accompanied by a telephoto lens.

Furthermore, the handset is tipped to pack up to 1TB of internal storage. The previous leak suggests that the device will pack a 4,860mAh which could support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Pro model on the other hand could be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. It is expected to offer 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Alongside, the Xiaomi 14 lineup, Xiaomi is also expected to introduce the Xiaomi Watch S3. This upcoming smartwatch is expected to feature an OLED display and it also might offer 4G connectivity. The smartwatch is rumoured to pack a 520mAh battery and similar to its predecessor it could offer several health monitoring features such as heart rate and SpO2 monitoring.

The Xiaomi Watch S3 is expected to arrive as a successor to the Xiaomi Watch S2, which was launched in China back in December last year. To recall, the Xiaomi Watch S2 comes in 42mm and 46mm variant. The prior features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a 466 × 466-pixel resolution and a 353 PPI pixel density, whereas the latter comes with a 1.43-inch display. Both these models can track over 100+ sports mode and they have connectivity features such as Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, and NFC for payments.
