Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the Xiaomi Civi 4 smartphone in China. The Civi series is targeted at female youth in the Chinese market. Today, we have spotted the Xiaomi Civi 4 smartphone in the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) certification.
The MIIT certification obtained by the upcoming Civi 4 smartphone reveals the 24031PN0DC model number. The latest certification obtained by the Civi 4 certification reveals that Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with support for satellite connectivity, apart from support for 5G.
However, the certification doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the smartphone. The model number of the smartphone was earlier leaked via the IMEI listing spotted by GSMChina. However, the moniker of the device wasn’t confirmed through the IMEI certification.
The smartphone recently received TUV Rhienland’s Flicker-Free certification as well. The upcoming Civi 4 smartphone received TUV Rhienland’s Flicker Free certification alongside the global variant of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone with the model number 24030PN60G.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Expected Specifications
The Flicker Free certification confirms that the smartphone will sport an AMOLED display that doesn’t cause any strain to the user’s eyes. The upcoming Civi 4 smartphone is tipped to debut in May, similar to its predecessor. The forthcoming device is said to compete against the likes of HONOR number series smartphones.
The initial leaks surrounding the smartphone hinted that Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. The usage of the Dimensity 8300 Ultra was expected, as its predecessor, the Xiaomi Civi 3, came with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC.
However, the latest leak from Digital Chat Station claims that Xiaomi will debut the smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Keep in mind these are early leaks, and the device’s final specifications could be very different when it is released.
