Xiaomi launched the Mix 4 last year in China. The phone did not make its way to India or other markets outside China. The Mix 4 came with a ceramic body that packed premium hardware, including a 108MP camera, an under-screen front camera and a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. It has been a few months since the Mix 4 launched. Xiaomi is now working on the launch of the Mix 5 in China.
Currently, there is no word on the official launch. However, we can expect the Xiaomi Mix 5 to launch in August or September 2022. Xiaomi Mix 5 Geekbench
Xiaomi Mix 5 will launch as one of the most premium smartphones from the company. It has visited the Geekbench website ahead of the launch. As per the listing, the device has the model number 2203121C. It is being speculated that the model number is associated with the Mix 5, which has the codename Thor. It could also be possible that the phone launches as Mix 5 Pro in China. While we wait for some more details on the moniker, the listing confirms that the 2203121C device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has a peak clock speed of 3.00GHz.
The processor is paired with Adreno 730 GPU. The variant listed on Geekbench has 12GB of RAM. It runs Android 12 out of the box. Safe to say, the phone will run MIUI 13 out of the box. It scored 1257 and 3456 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.
