Xiaomi Expands Premium Service Centre Network to 15 New Indian Cities

Xiaomi India has announced the second phase of its Premium Service Centre expansion, adding 15 new cities to its after-sales network in India. The move builds on the initial rollout of 10 centres in 2025 and is part of Xiaomi's longer-term plan to set up 100 Premium Service Centres nationwide.

The newly announced centres will go live through a phased rollout in Q1 2026. Early launches include Ludhiana and Indore on January 29, followed by Visakhapatnam, Surat, and Lucknow on January 30, with the remaining locations scheduled to open over the coming weeks.

Unlike conventional service points, Xiaomi's Premium Service Centres are positioned as experience-focused hubs. In addition to repairs, they offer faster turnaround times, Xiaomi-certified technical staff, product interaction zones, and paperless service workflows. Customers can also explore and purchase Xiaomi products at these locations, blurring the line between retail and after-sales support.

Xiaomi says the expansion is driven by changing usage patterns, with users holding on to their smartphones for longer and placing greater importance on dependable service and maintenance. Data shared by the company shows that the first batch of Premium Service Centres delivered strong operational performance, with nearly 95 percent of devices repaired within 24 hours, repeat visits kept below 1 percent, and customer escalations under 0.5 percent.

The new centres will also introduce targeted service benefits, including limited-period discounts on spare parts, complimentary accessories for select devices, and special service concessions for women customers, defence personnel, and persons with disabilities.

As smartphone replacement cycles continue to stretch, after-sales service is emerging as a competitive differentiator rather than a support function. Xiaomi's expanded premium service footprint signals a sharper focus on long-term ownership experience, positioning service quality alongside hardware and pricing in its India strategy.
