Vivo has launched a new mid-range phone in the S series in China today. The newest phone, the Vivo S15e in the S series was launched along with the Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 devices. The Vivo S15e is the first smartphone in the Vivo’s S series and the specifications of the same were shared by MySmartPrice exclusively a few days back.
Now, the phone is here with the same specifications that we mentioned earlier. Some key feature of the device includes Exynos 1080 processor, up to 12GB RAM, 50MP main camera, 90Hz AMOLED display, and 66W fast charging support. Let us take a look at the phone in detail.

Vivo S15e Price and Availability
The Vivo S15e costs CNY 1999 (~Rs 23,400 ) for the 8GB+128GB version, CNY 2299 (~Rs 26,900) for the 8GB+256GB variant and CNY 2499 (~Rs 29,200) for the 12GB+256GB variant. The phone is now available for pre-order in China and will start shipping from April 30.
Vivo S15e: Specifications and Features
The Vivo S15e features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2404 × 1080 pixels. It comes with a 20:9 screen ratio, 103% NTSC colour gamut, and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. Under the hood, the Vivo S series phone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1080 processor, which is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm process. The SoC comes with a max clock speed of 2.8GHz and a G78 GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 internal storage.
On the back, the S15e comes with a triple rear camera setup. Thre is a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro shooter with f/2.4. For selfies, there is a 16MP snapper on the front. The phone can shoot up to 4K video from the rear camera. The Vivo S15e draws power from a 4700mAh battery unit paired with 66W fast charging support.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint reader, face unlock, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, Type-C charging port, 5G, and 4G support. The handset measures 8.49~10.31mm thick and weighs 191 grams. The phone will run Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of Origin OS Ocean on top of Android. The device is confirmed to launch in three colours – Peach, Blue, and Black.
