Vivo will launch the X80 series in China on April 25. The company is expected to launch three premium smartphones, namely the X80, X80 Pro and X80 Pro+. Another Vivo smartphone confirmed to launch on April 25 is the S15e. The device will not be a flagship offering rather much more affordable than the X80 series.
The Vivo S15e will be the first smartphone to be a part of the S15 series. The company has already teased the design of the device ahead of the launch. Vivo S15e will launch in China on April 25. Ahead of the official launch, the complete specifications of the device have leaked. Tipster Agarwal tells us that the phone will sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It will come with support for a 90Hz refresh rate and 409PPI. The device will come with a 16MP front camera.
Vivo will launch the device with a water-drop notch at the top of the display. Since it has an AMOLED panel, the phone will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner along with support for face unlock.
The phone will launch with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM as standard. It will come with 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device will pack a 4700 mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging out of the box.
On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup. The device will have a 50MP main camera sensor along with a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Under the hood, there will be an Exynos 1080 SoC. The phone will run Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of Origin OS Ocean on top of Android. The device is confirmed to launch in three colours – Peach, Blue, and Black.
