All-digital Xbox Series X: What to Expect?

One can easily spot that the leaked all-digital Xbox Series X does not have a disc reader on the front. The overall design, including ports of the alleged console, is unchanged from the Xbox Series X with a disc drive. The leak does not offer any other new details.

As we reported previously, the all-digital Xbox Series X is expected to arrive with minor improvements over the current console. It is said to feature an improved heatsink as part of changes to the internal component. This will help the console with better heat dissipation during long gaming sessions.

The upcoming Xbox Series X is expected to arrive sometime during June or July 2024. The pricing details are unknown but it is speculated to cost $50-$100 cheaper. Microsoft is currently selling Xbox Series X with disc for $499 in the United States.

Xbox has undergone significant changes in recent times. Microsoft officially confirmed it would bring four Xbox-exclusive titles to rival platforms PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. These are Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Pentiment, and Grounded. It is expected more Xbox titles will make their way to other platforms in the future.
