Apple recently announced the latest iteration of iPhones – the iPhone 14 lineup. The Cupertino tech giant also slashed the prices of the existing iPhone models including the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12. As of now, the iPhone 12 is priced at Rs 59,990 in the country. However, the iPhone 12 can be available for purchase with a huge discount in Amazon’s upcoming Great Indian Festival Sale.
A teaser image on Amazon’s Great Indian Festival micro-site reveals that the iPhone 12 will be available for purchase for under Rs 40,000. This should be the price for the base 64GB storage variant. The iPhone 12 is a two-generation old model and it features a 6.1-inch OLED display panel with 460ppi pixel density and 1200nits peak brightness. It is a Super Retina XDR display that supports HDR, and Dolby Vision and features ceramic shield protection.
Under the hood, the iPhone 12 sports an A14 Bionic chipset that is fabbed on a 5nm process. It is available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options. The smartphone has already received the iOS 16 update and should receive software updates in the coming years as well.
The iPhone 12 offers a 12MP rear camera with optical image stabilizations and true tone flash. It gets accompanied by another 12MP lens that brings ultra-wide angle functionality to the table. For selfies, it comes equipped with a 12MP front shooter.
