The Apple Vision Pro official launch date has been subject to a ton of speculations lately. Notably, Apple officially announced its ambitious mixed reality headset called Vision Pro at its WWDC 2023 event in June. The brand also announced that the headset will officially launch in early 2024. Apple had plans to release the headset in January 2024 but Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claimed that the headset was delayed till March 2024.
The same tipster then claimed that the overseas production of the headset has been ramped up and Apple is aiming for a February 2024 launch. However, there was no specific launch date until now. Apple Vision Pro Set to Launch on January 26
The original iPad was released on a Saturday. Jan 26 is indeed the date floating around the last few days among people in China who claim to be connected to Apple. Like I said, units will be ready by end of January with a retail launch by February. It’s imminent.

Notably, a Chinese investor news service called Wall Street Insights (via MacRumors) reported that the Apple Vision Pro headset will launch in the last week of January. However, the information was written off as a sketchy rumour as the news service doesn’t have a proven track record of Apple leaks. However, The publication goes on to state that it has received exclusive information from sources that the Vision Pro will launch on the last Saturday of this month, January 27 in the US.
However, the publication could be referring to January 27 in China, which falls on Friday. This means that Apple Vision Pro could launch on January 27, which is a Saturday in the US. While there are talks that Apple never launched a product on a Saturday, Mark Gurman replied to the MacRumors’ thread that Apple launched the original iPad on Saturday, so it could be a possibility that Apple Vision Pro could launch on Saturday, January 27.
The tipster goes on to mention that January 27 is indeed the date that is being speculated by people in China, who claim to be connected to Apple. Gurman also mentions that as he previously stated, retail units will be ready by January end and the retail launch will be in February. Either ways, the launch is imminent and interested buyers don’t have to wait till March to get their hands on March 2024 as previously predicted.
