ASUS is gearing up for the launch of its Steam Deck competitor, the ASUS ROG Ally. The company has confirmed that its gaming handheld will debut globally on May 11. Ahead of the official launch, we have been learning new details of the ROG Ally through several leaks. Just two days back, the pricing of the device with AMD Z1 Extreme processor was revealed online. Now, in a recent development, the pricing of the vanilla Z1 processor variant has leaked. The new pricing details come courtesy of leakster SnoppyTech.

ASUS ROG Ally with AMD Z1 Processor To Start At $600

As per the leaked information, the ROG Ally with AMD Z1 processor will cost $599.99 (roughly Rs 49,000). This pricing will be for the variant which will come with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of NVMe M.2 SSD storage. As far as the pricing of the top-end variant go, it will be priced at $699 (roughly Rs 57,140). Coming to the specifications, the device is expected to feature a 7-inch display that could offer a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 500nits peak brightness.

This upcoming gaming handheld device will debut in two different SoC variants. The base model will be powered by AMD Ryzen Z1 processor, while the top-end model will come with Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors. As for the software, the device will boot Windows 11 OS. The ROG Ally will be compatible with EA apps, Epic Games, Steam, and Xbox game pass. Furthermore, the device will also have a Dolby Atmos audio support for superior sound quality.

As far as the other specifications are concerned, the ROG Ally will have a dedicated microSD card slot, a USB Type-C port, and a 65W fast charging. The device is also expected to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it might also come with several accessories such as ASUS ROG Raikiri Pro Controller, ASUS ROG Cetra Earbuds (TWS), and a Travel Case. Lastly, the device will also have a heat pipe with two-element heat sinks, a connection port for ASUS XG Mobile external GPU, shoulder buttons, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
