Asus appears to be preparing for the next smartphone launch as the Zenfone 11 has been spotted on Google Play Console. It will be the first smartphone to launch since the company confirmed it has no plans to shut down the Zenfone series. The listing reveals Zenfone 11’s key specifications as well as a render of the front panel. Here is what we know about the next Zenfone smartphone so far.

Asus Zenfone 11 Specifications Leaked

The Asus Zenfone 11 listing on Google Play Console was first spotted by folks at 91Mobiles. The listing reveals the smartphone’s name and model number as Zenfone 11 and AI2401_D respectively. This is in line with a previous leak that mentioned the Zenfone 11 Ultra model number to be AI2401_H.

The alleged Zenfone 11 is shown with a centered punch-hole display. It has minimal bezels on all four sides. You can notice the power key and volume rockers on the right side.

The listing reveals it will be powered by the Qualcomm SM8650 processor, which is the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, it mentions the chipset has the Adreno 830 GPU instead of the Adreno 750.

This difference has led to confusion regarding what processor will power the Zenfone 11. The change in GPU name suggests it could also be the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Since the Zenfone 10 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 makes more sense for a successor model. Nevertheless, we will surely see Zenfone 11 powered by a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The listing further reveals that Zenfone 11 will have a Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) display. The panel type is unknown but it should be AMOLED if we go by the current-generation model. The smartphone is listed with 16GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system. Asus will likely launch Zenfone 11 with multiple configuration variants and 16GB RAM will be the top-end variant.

There are no words on the launch timeline yet but if Asus is planning to offer the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset with the Zenfone 11, fans will likely have to wait until the end of the year. This is because Qualcomm is known to announce next-gen flagship processors during the last quarter of the year.

In other news, Asus recently took wraps off the new ROG Phone 8 series. The lineup has three models: ROG Phone 8, ROG Phone 8 Pro, and ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition. These are gaming smartphones packed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and up to 24GB of RAM. There is an LTPO AMOLED display with up to 165Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits peak brightness for an immersive gaming experience.
