Fujifilm Instax Mini 99: Price, Availability

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 99 is priced at Rs 20,999 and will be available via www.instax.in, Amazon, and Flipkart, starting April 4. It comes with a new Instax mini-format film, the Photo Slide priced at Rs 899. Additionally, they will also be available at over 2,000 Instax stores in India.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 99: Features

The Instax Mini 99 comes with a familiar signature design of the Instax series but with a leather-like matte texture with Hammertone coating and coloured text. The camera body has four LED lights inside, which can be controlled using the Color Effect Dial on the side.

Users can choose from six unique effects: Faded Green, Warm Tone, Light Blue, Soft Magenta, Sepia, and Light Leak. They are applied directly on the Instax prints using the LED lights, for a creative aesthetic. These effects also change based on the ambient light, subject colour, and other shooting conditions.

The new Instax mini also has a unique Vignette button and brightness control dial, which are self-explanatory. The button allows users to add an artistic shade around the edges and corners for a soft effect. On the other hand, the brightness dial offers five brightness levels (D- for the darkest and L+ for the brightest exposure effect).

There’s a lens dial with three focus modes, including Macro, Standard, and Landscape. The macro mode can be used to shoot a subject between 30-60cm, the standard mode is ideal for subjects between 6-300 cm, and the landscape mode is for subjects placed 300cm and beyond. Other shooting modes on the camera include Indoor for low-light situations, Sports for moving shots, Double Exposure for merging two shots, and Bulb for brightening effect. The camera also comes with adjustable flash controls, a self-timer, and a precision-milled Base Grip with a tripod mount.

Fujifilm has also rolled out a new update for its Instax UP! app, which lets users connect the camera to a smartphone to import, organise, and store their Instax photos digitally. The new update adds the ability to sort Instax pictures based on a theme or occasion for better management of Instax pictures.
