BGMI 3.2 Update: What’s New

Announcing the update’s feature and upcoming content, the developers released a podcast featuring popular esports players including Zgod, Beast, Omega, Manya, Saumraj, and Punk with the host Mazy.

The new update centres around the Mecha Fusion Theme Mode, inspired by Mecha warfare. The update was initially slated to be released on May 22 but was pushed back due to unknown reasons. Here’s what has been revealed about the upcoming BGMI 3.2 update.

Mecha Fusion Themed Mode

Steel Ark: This mode will replace the current Skyhigh Spectacle mode. The main highlight of this mode is Steel Ark ships, a hot drop with a lot of loot here. Three new Mechas have been added to the game, which can be used to fly across the map, even on water, and shoot enemies, offering enhanced mobility and combat options.

Armamech: The Armamech is a powerful battle vehicle formed by combining two Mechas: Levitron and Strider. When these Mechas are close, they can merge into the Armamech, with the Levitron pilot taking control. The Levitron can switch between speed and magnetic forms. In speed form, it gains collision acceleration in magnetic form and activates the magnetic arm for attacks. The Strider acts as the lower-body component and is an offensive two-seater vehicle, capable of launching missiles at targeted areas.

Assembly Base: The update also introduces an assembly base near the Steel Ark, where players can obtain supplies, and repair their Mechas.

Self-Reviving Device and Jetpack

The Alien Spaceship will contain valuable loot, including a self-reviving device to let you revive yourself back into the fight. The ship will also drop a jetpack, enabling you to take flight and easily reach higher ground for combat or escape. Additionally, this jetpack comes equipped with a magnetic gun, allowing you to transport vehicles and airdrops effortlessly.

The current recall system via the recall tower will be replaced by a special respawn flare gun added to the game, which is used anywhere to recall your eliminated teammates.

Other New Content and Skins

BGMI 3.2 Update brings in the Anniversary Crate, which comes with five different items. It is also bringing back Dragon Ball Super Collab Skins, Ranveer Singh Voicepack, and his character with an outfit.

Is BGMI 120 FPS coming?

PUBG Mobile 3.2 update, featuring Mecha Fusion mode has already launched and 120 FPS feature. However, the podcast did not mention any 120 FPS feature in the game. Players should wait for an official announcement from Krafton.

BGMI 3.2 Update Release Date

According to Classified YT, the new update is set to be released on May 29. The update was heavily criticized when it launched on PUBG Mobile and Indian players have already started complaining about the new update before its launch. It is to be seen whether the BGMI 3.2 update makes any difference compared to its global counterpart.
