Sony has announced that the popular PS5-exclusive Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is coming to PC on May 16th. The game is being ported to PC by Nixxes, a studio owned by Sony and known for its PC ports. Here’s a look at what the game will bring to PC, supported hardware, and more details.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut: Details
PC gamers will be able to live and play Jin’s story through the action-adventure game set in feudal Japan on their gaming rigs soon. The gameplay is the story of the protagonist Jin Sakai who wants to protect Tsushima Island and its people after a Mongolian invasion destroys the samurai army of Tsushima.
Sony has announced that the PC port of the game will bring main gameplay along with other goodies. These include the Iki Island Expansion with a new location, characters, enemies, etc., multiplayer Legends mode, and Kurosawa Mode offering gameplay in black and white with film grain effects inspired by the movie style of legendary filmmaker Akira Kurosawa.
Ghost of Tsushima on PC: Price and How to Purchase
The Ghost of Tsushima is already up for pre-purchase on Epic Game Store and Steam Store. The game has been priced at Rs 3,999 and those pre-ordering will get multiple early in-game unlocks when the game launches on PC.
These include New Game+ Horse travel companion, Traveler’s Attire – fit for a seasoned warrior, and Broken Armour dyes from Baku’s shop. Here’s how you can pre-purchase the game ahead of the May 16 launch.
- Go to the Epic Game Store or Steam.
- Search for Ghost of Tsushima and click on the pre-purchase button.
- Log in using your Epic Game or Steam credentials and simply make the payment to pre-book.
Once you pre-purchase the game, you will receive email confirmation about the same. The game will be added to your library and can be downloaded once it launches in May.
Ghost of Tsushima on PC: Supported Hardware
Sony has announced that the PC port of the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be able to benefit from gaming hardware on PC. According to the official announcement, PC gamers will be able to benefit from unlocked frame rates, graphics settings and presets, and customizable mouse and keyboard controls. Below is the list of supported hardware.
- Display: 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions, 48:9 resolutions for triple monitor setups
- Gaming Technologies: Intel XeSS, NVIDIA DLSS 3, and AMD FSR 3 for upscaling and frame generation; NVIDIA DLAA or FSR 3 Native AA to boost image quality.
- Controllers: PlayStation DualSense controller for the same haptic feedback as PS5, Other controllers supported with Steam Input to remap and customize buttons.
