Huawei FreeBuds 4i launched in China as the latest truly wireless earbuds from the company. The device is listed on Vmall and is up for pre-order in China presently. The Huawei FreeBuds 4i succeeds FreeBuds 3i. The latest earbuds come loaded with a host of interesting features including ANC support, wearer detection, up to 10 hours of battery backup, and more. Huawei FreeBuds 4i price is CNY 499 and comes in Red, Black and White colour options. The TWS are currently available for pre-order on Vmall in China. There is no word by Huawei yet on the availability of the product outside China at the moment.

Huawei FreeBuds 4i Specifications, Features

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i offers a similar design as seen in the FreeBuds 3i. The company has gone with an in-ear design with a long stem. The FreeBuds 4i offers Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support for a noise-free sound experience. The FreeBuds 4i comes with a 3D bionic design, which offers a perfect fit for the ear while reducing the burden for best comfort. The TWS comes with a built-in capacitive touch sensing device on both sides. This can be used to control by either double tap or long-press.

You can customize the other functionality of the buds from Huawei AI Life app on the phones running EMUI 11.0. One can double-tap on the left or right earbuds to play/pause/change music or attend the call. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) can be enabled by long-pressing either of the buds. In terms of dimensions, the FreeBuds 4i measures 37.5mm×23.9mm×21mm and weighs around 5.5 grams. Each earbud has a 55mAh battery, while the case packs a 215mAh battery.

Huawei promises a 7.5 hours battery life for FreeBuds 4i with ANC disabled and 10 hours battery with ANC enabled. The earbuds take around 60 minutes to charge up to 100 per cent, while the case alone takes about 90 minutes for a full charge. The Buds have a built-in 10 mm dynamic coil unit, dual-microphone design, and offer Bluetooth 5.2 support.
