Huawei debuted the Huawei Mate 60 series smartphones with the in-house Kirin 9000S chipset. The Mate 60 series smartphones include the vanilla Huawei Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60 Pro+, and Mate 60 RS Ultimate Edition. The Chinese smartphone giant bypassed the sanctions imposed by the US Government to offer 5G connectivity to its Mate 60 series smartphones. A report later revealed that Huawei will equip the upcoming Huawei Flip smartphone with 5G connectivity. Huawei also launched the Nova 11 SE smartphone with a 4G Snapdragon chipset. The company is rumoured to debut the upcoming Huawei Nova 12 Pro and Nova 12 smartphones soon in the market with in-house Kirin chipsets.
Huawei Nova 12 Pro Expected Specifications
A tipster has shared the render of the upcoming Nova 12 Pro smartphone ahead of its debut. The render reveals that Huawei will equip the forthcoming Nova smartphone with triple rear cameras. The two secondary cameras are equipped in a smaller circular ring as opposed to the primary camera’s large ring. One of the secondary camera rings also houses the LED ring light, which departs from the usual placement of LED flashlights.
Huawei will likely equip the smartphone with a circular camera island similar to its predecessor, Nova 11 series smartphones. The Huawei and Nova branding can be seen on the bottom centre of the upcoming Nova smartphone. The previous reports hint that Huawei will equip the Nova 12 Pro smartphone with the Kirin 9000S chipset.
The chipset is built using a 7nm process of China’s SMIC and features one Cortex-A77 core at 3.13GHz, three Cortex-A77 cores at 2.54GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.05GHz, and a Mali-G78 GPU. The upcoming device will feature a curved OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The triple rear camera setup will comprise a 50MP primary lens, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 50MP telephoto lens. The device will sport dual cameras on the front comprising a 60MP primary lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The smartphone will bring support for 4K recording and 10-step variable aperture support.
The device will be backed by a 4900mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Huawei is also tipped to launch the smartphones with satellite communication found on flagship devices. The upcoming devices are said to launch with a pricing of RMB 2000 (approx. Rs 23,300).
Huawei Nova 12 Expected Specifications
The vanilla Nova 12 is tipped to equip a new Kirin chipset, which will debut under the Kirin 830 moniker. The chipset is said to debut with the upcoming Nova 12 series smartphones. A previous report indicates that the Nova 12 series smartphones will likely debut in December.
The Nova 12 will feature triple rear cameras comprising a 50MP primary lens, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 8MP telephoto lens. The device will sport a 60MP selfie camera placed inside the centred punch-hole. The smartphone will be backed by a 4800mAh battery with 88W wired charging support.
