Infinix is all set to launch the Infinix Smart 8 smartphone in India. The smartphone was introduced in Nigeria in November 2023. The Hong Kong-based budget smartphone brand has been sharing teasers about the upcoming smartphone’s specifications. The micro-site of the smartphone is live on Flipkart, which confirms the launch date of the upcoming device.

Infinix Smart 8: Launch Date, Price Range, Confirmed Specifications

The Flipkart micro-site confirms that Infinix will debut the smartphone on January 13 in India. Infinix will reveal the pricing and complete specifications of the smartphone through a press release at 12 PM. The micro-site reiterates that Infinix will launch the smartphone at Rs 6,xxx for the 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of storage.

Infinix will also equip the smartphone with support for virtual RAM expansion of up to 4GB. The upcoming smartphone will sport a Magic Ring feature similar to the Infinix Smart 8HD smartphone. The brand equips the smartphone with a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Infinix confirms the upcoming device will sport a 50MP primary camera paired with an AI camera. The phone also gets an LED flash to assist the device in night photography. The device will sport a dedicated portrait mode. The upcoming smartphone will also include support for AR photography. The brand claims that Infinix Smart 8 will be the first in the segment to sport an 8MP selfie camera with a flashlight.

The brand will debut the smartphone in Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, Timber Black and Galaxy White colours. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side of the device. The upcoming smartphone is also the first in the segment to sport a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
