The iQOO Neo 7 5G will launch as a successor to the Neo 6 5G in India. The phone is set to launch in India on February 16. Ahead of the launch, iQOO revealed that the phone will feature a Dimensity 8200 SoC. The company has also confirmed that the phone will support 120W fast charging out of the box. This is an upgrade over the Neo 6 5G’s 80W fast charging support. To keep heating in control, the Neo 7 5G will come with a full-size 3D Cooling System.

Based on the teased specifications, it is safe to say that the Neo 7 SE from China is coming to India as the Neo 7 5G.

The Neo 7 SE was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 2099 (roughly Rs 25,200) for the base 8GB RAM variant with 128GB of internal storage. We can expect the phone’s India price to start at around Rs 30,000.

For the price, the Neo 7 India variant should offer a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There will be a hole-punch cutout at the top for the front camera. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and offers a 93.11 per cent screen-to-body ratio. As expected, the Neo 7 offers 120Hz refresh rate support.

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery, which is an upgrade over the Neo 6’s 4700mAh cell. There is also a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone in China has a 64MP primary camera. It is accompanied by two 2MP sensors. The phone does not come with an ultra-wide camera, which is a downgrade over the Neo 6 5G’s 8MP sensor.

The Neo 7 5G has an in-display fingerprint scanner. It supports Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, etc. The phone boots Android 13 out of the box. The India variant will have a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top. What are your thoughts about the Neo 7 5G? Let us know in the comments below.
