Tipster Paras Guglani has listed the key specifications of the upcoming phone. The device is likely to be a premium offering and feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. The device is also likely to come to India in the form of the Neo 7 5G. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 7 SE 5G specifications, features and other details leaked so far.
iQOO Neo 7 SE 5G Specifications
The iQOO Neo 7 SE 5G will be the second smartphone in the series. It is likely to debut soon in China, followed by a launch in India. The Neo 7 SE will feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate display, according to tipster Paras Guglani. The device will launch with at least 8GB of RAM. iQOO could also launch a 12GB RAM option for the Neo 7 SE 5G.
The tipster further revealed that the phone will feature a 5000mAh battery. This will be an upgrade over the Neo 6 SE’s 4700mAh battery. In addition to this, the device will also get 120W fast charging support. This, again, is an upgrade to the predecessor’s 80W fast charging support.
On the back, there will be a 50MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). The device will also feature a Snapdragon 8 series SoC. Although it is unknown which SoC will be packed inside the SE variant.
Guglani claimed that the phone will carry the same specs as the Neo 7 5G, except for the processor. If that is the case, the Neo 7 SE will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout. There will be a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone could also feature a 16MP front camera.
The Neo 7 SE 5G could debut in India as the Neo 7 5G. We say so based on the previous generation’s launch in India. iQOO launched the Neo 6 SE 5G as the Neo 6 5G in India. The phone came with a Snapdragon 870 SoC, whereas the Neo 6 5G China variant featured a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. iQOO might follow the same strategy and launch a more affordable option without compromising on the price-to-performance ratio. That being said, there is no official word from the brand. We will share more details on the same as and when available.
