iQOO Neo 9 Pro AnTuTu Score Revealed, Beats 2023’s Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in Benchmark

iQOO claims that the Neo 9 Pro has a score of more than 1.7 million in AnTuTu v9 benchmarking test.

As we draw closer to the end of January, a major trend is becoming clearer: smartphone makers are launching more and more mid-range, ‘affordable flagship’ smartphones that beat the scores of 2023’s flagships. The latest participant in this trend is the iQOO Neo 9 Pro.

iQOO India shared a teaser on X (formerly Twitter) revealing the AnTuTu score of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. With a claimed overall score of 1.7 million, it beats the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, one of the top flagships of 2023, which achieved a score of 1204074 in our tests.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro: Here is Everything We Know So Far

From the way iQOO is marketing the device, the Neo 9 Pro seems to rival the recently launched OnePlus 12R, which retails for Rs 39,999.

iQOO has confirmed that the smartphone will debut in two configurations. The base variant of the device will be available in an 8GB RAM and 256GB configuration. The top-end variant will debut with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone will be available in iQOO India’s online store, apart from Amazon India.

Previously, iQOO also revealed that the Neo 9 Pro will be available in Fiery Red and Conqueror Black colour trims. The Fiery Red hue will sport a leather texture and a dual-coloured finish.

iQOO has also confirmed that the Indian variant will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. In contrast, the Chinese variant of the phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.

iQOO will also equip the Neo 9 Pro smartphone with a Q1 Supercomputing chipset, which will help the device achieve 144 FPS game frame interpolation and 900 pixel super resolution.

The smartphone will also support MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology. iQOO also confirmed that the device will sport a 50MP Sony IMX 920 sensor, which recently debuted with the Vivo X100 series smartphones.

Amazon India has started a contest that is live on the micro-site of the Neo 9 Pro smartphone. The contest is offering up to Rs 40,000 for the winners who answer all questions without fail. The prize of the contest hints that iQOO might price the smartphone in the sub-Rs 40,000 segment.

The primary sensor will be paired with a secondary 8MP ultrawide lens. The teaser confirms that the primary sensor will be equipped with OIS and night vision.
