iQOO has become the newest smartphone brand in India to announce a campaign dedicated to customer service. It joins its parent company Vivo and Xiaomi which announced their respective campaigns recently. iQOO Service Day will give customers an opportunity to get their devices checked by trained professionals while also saving some money at the same time.
iQOO Service Day Dates and Benefits
iQOO has announced iQOO Service Day will be a two-day event on a monthly basis. It will take place on the second Saturday and Sunday of each month. It means the dates for this month are August 12 and 13 i.e. starting tomorrow.
As part of the iQOO Service Day campaign, the company is offering free handset checkups and no labour charges. The latter is particularly beneficial for customers as they will not be charged any labour fee for any kind of repair. It essentially means a relatively lower amount to look at on your repair bill.
iQOO will further offer free sanitization of the handset, free software updates, and free handset cleaning. It has also announced free screen guard and free back cover but this perk is limited to select smartphone models. Unfortunately, it has not made the list of eligible devices public. Customers will either need to visit the nearest service centre or get in touch with customer support to know if their iQOO device is eligible for the free screen guard and back cover benefit.

In other news, iQOO is preparing for the launch of a new smartphone in India. The iQOO Z7 Pro will debut in the country in the last week of the month i.e. August 31. The company is teasing the smartphone as a “fusion of speed, performance, and style”. It is expected to have a curved AMOLED display, an under-display fingerprint scanner, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, and up to 12GB of RAM. The pricing is rumoured to be under Rs 30,000 which could make it a tempting device to own.
