Asus opens pre-orders for Zenbook S16, Zenbook 14 and new Vivobook AI laptop lineup in India

Asus has opened pre-orders for its latest AI-focused laptop lineup in India, headlined by the Zenbook S16 and Zenbook 14, alongside several new Vivobook models powered by AMD's Ryzen AI 400-series processors. The new machines are designed to bring on-device AI acceleration to mainstream and premium laptop segments.

Leading the announcement is the Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA), which features AMD's Ryzen AI 9 465 processor paired with a 50 TOPS NPU aimed at handling AI-assisted workflows and Copilot+ PC experiences. The laptop comes in a slim 1.1 cm chassis weighing around 1.5 kg and includes a 16-inch 3K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Asus claims battery life of up to 23 hours along with Dolby Atmos speakers and security features such as Microsoft Pluton.

The Zenbook 14 (UM3406GA) targets users looking for a more compact alternative. It runs on the Ryzen AI 5 430 processor with similar AI acceleration capabilities and features a 14-inch OLED touchscreen, Copilot key support and a lightweight 1.28 kg build.

Alongside the Zenbook refresh, Asus has expanded its Vivobook range with multiple new models. The Vivobook S16 and Vivobook 16 (M1607GA) bring Ryzen AI processors to mid-range segments, while the Vivobook 15 and Vivobook 16 (M1605NAQ) focus on everyday performance with Ryzen 7 processors and DDR5 memory support.

The Zenbook S16 starts at ₹1,69,990, while the Zenbook 14 starts at ₹1,15,990. The Vivobook series begins at ₹62,990. Asus says the new laptops will be available from February 12 via its online store and retail partners, while the Vivobook 16 (M1605NAQ) is expected to arrive in early March.

Asus is also offering limited-time pre-order benefits worth ₹5,599, including extended warranty and accidental damage protection, for select Zenbook buyers.
