Apple MacBook Air M2 Now Available on Sale in India at Starting Price of Rs 119,900

Apple MacBook Air M2 is now on sale in India. The new MacBook Air was launched earlier this year at the WWDC 22. Apple launched the new MacBook Air with a new M2 chip alongside the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Unlike the new MacBook Pro 13-inch, the Air M2 got some major upgrades over its predecessor.

The Air M2 comes with an all-new design. Apple also improved the webcam and introduced a new charging port for the Air M2. Let’s take a look at the MacBook Air M2 price in India, specifications and other details.

Apple MacBook Air M2 Price in India

Apple’s new MacBook Air M2 is now officially available for purchase in India. The new MacBook Air comes with a price tag of Rs 1,19,900. Under the education program, students, teachers and university staff can buy the M2 Air at a starting price of Rs 1,09,900.

The MacBook Air comes in multiple RAM and storage configurations. Its base model has 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. The RAM and storage can be upgraded up to 16GB and 2TB, respectively.

Customers can also choose between an 8-core + 8-core GPU model and the 8-core + 10-core GPU option. The 10-core GPU variant with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD will cost Rs 1,49,900. If you wish to have the top-spec option with 24GB of RAM and 2TB SSD, it could cost you Rs 2,49,900.

As part of the launch offers, HDFC Bank credit card customers can get up to Rs 6,000 off on the purchase of the Air M2. The offer is also applicable on 3/6 months of no-cost EMI transactions.

Regarding the specs, the M2 Air sports a new 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with 2,560×1,664 resolution and 500 nits of peak brightness. There is a wide notch at the top for the 1080p webcam. The M2 chip under the hood offers up to 18 per cent faster CPU and 35 per cent more powerful GPU.

Users can expect the MacBook Air to offer up to 18 hours of battery life on a single charge. Apple will provide a 30W adapter with the base model. The 10-core 512GB option will ship with a 35W dual-Type-C adapter. Customers can choose to upgrade to a 67W fast charging adapter.

The Air M2 supports MagSafe charging and has two USB Type-C ports. It also features a quad-speaker setup and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The M2 Air weighs about 1.2 kgs and comes in Silver, Starlight Space, Grey and Midnight colours.
