Lenovo is expected to launch its new gaming smartphone very soon. The company has teased the launch of the Lenovo Legion Y90 in China. Although some teaser images and videos have been dropped, the company is yet to announce the official launch date. However, the launch seems imminent, courtesy of a Geekbench listing.

The upcoming Lenovo gaming phone is listed on the Geekbench website. The listing confirms some of the key performance unit details of the Legion Y90. As per the listing, the phone will come with 18GB of RAM out of the box. Let’s take a look at the other key specifications and features of the Lenovo Legion Y90 leaked ahead of its launch.

Lenovo Legion Y90 Geekbench

Lenovo is expected to announce the Legion Y90 launch date very soon. The Geekbench listing has confirmed the processor details of the phone. It will draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC as expected. The octa-core chipset has a Prime X2 core clocked at 3.0GHz with three performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz. There are four efficiency cores clocked at 1.78GHz.

The phone, which has the model number L71061, will run Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of Lenovo’s custom Android skin on top. The device is also listed to come with 18GB of RAM. We can expect Lenovo to launch the phone with 8GB/ 12GB/ 16GB RAM options.

The Legion Y90 scored 1227 and 3780 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests. As per a recent TENAA listing, the phone will sport a 6.9-inch tall AMOLED display. It will have a Full HD+ resolution and is expected to support a 144Hz refresh rate.

The device will pack a 5300 mAh battery and is expected to support 68W fast charging out of the box. Some reports have also claimed that the phone will pack a larger 5600 mAh battery. It will come with a dual-camera setup. The main camera could feature a 64MP main camera and a 16MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, there will be a 44MP front camera sensor.

Lenovo will pack a dual-fan cooling system for thermal management. The device is rumoured to weigh about 268 grams and measure 176 x 78.8 x 10.5mm. Other features include dual X-axis motors, trigger keys, etc.
