Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, has ignited speculation with a cryptic post about a pivotal event next week. This highly anticipated reveal promises to unveil Microsoft’s vision for the future of Xbox. Industry speculations swirl around a potential departure from the company’s traditional emphasis on exclusivity.

“We’re listening and we hear you,” Spencer said in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). “We’ve been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox.”

Coming to the titles, Starfield is one of the biggest Bethesda game launch, which exclusively released on Xbox and PCs. A report from XboxEra reveals that Microsoft is planning to release Starfield to the newest Sony console following the release of the Shattered Space story expansion on Xbox and PC, for which a release date is currently unavailable. Additionally, the report asserts that Microsoft is in the process of preparing PlayStation 5 developer kits to facilitate and support developers in the porting of the game.

As for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, The Verge report reveals that Microsoft is also planning to bring the upcoming Bethesda game to PS5. Although Bethesda plans to debut its Indiana Jones game initially as an exclusive for Xbox consoles, indications suggest that this exclusivity period will be relatively brief.

With Spencer’s penchant for bold moves, one thing’s certain: next week’s reveal promises to be a watershed moment, potentially reshaping the very landscape of the gaming world.
