Not too long ago, Realme unveiled its Realme X7 series of smartphones in China. The Realme X7 lineup consists of two smartphones (for now), namely the Realme X7 and the Realme X7 Pro. So far, both devices have only been launched in China, and we are still waiting for the brand to unveil the Realme X7 series globally. That said, today’s finding hints very well that the global launch of the Realme X7 lineup might not be too far from now. Today, we have managed to spot the Realme X7 Pro 5G smartphone on the NBTC certification website, which hints at an imminent global launch of the device. Take a look.
Realme X7 Pro visits NBTC; global launch imminent
As seen in the NBTC certification image above, the Realme X7 Pro 5G (with the model number Realme RMX2121) has recently been spotted on the NBTC certification website. The certification confirms the moniker and the presence of 5G on the device. Other than these two things, the certification does not tell us anything of key importance about the Realme X7 Pro 5G.
That being said, the Chinese variant of the device has already been launched, so we can expect its global variant to feature similar specifications and features. Notably, the Realme X7 Pro 5G comes with a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The device sports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There is an under-display fingerprint scanner found on the Realme X7 Pro 5G, owing to the AMOLED panel.
Coming to the processor, the Realme X7 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000 processor, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. In terms of software, the device boots Android 10-based Realme UI out of the box. As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the Realme X7 Pro 5G features a 4,500mAh battery with scope for up to 65W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
For photography, the Realme X7 Pro 5G has a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 64MP primary lens (Sony IMX686), an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP retro portrait camera, and a 2MP macro lens. To learn more about the Realme X7 Pro 5G, you can head to our previous coverage for the same.
