Redmi Note 10T Global Launch Expected Soon as it Appears on Mi Forum

Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi Note 10 series devices including Redmi Note 10 Ultra in China tomorrow.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series including Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max back in March. The Redmi Note 10 family is going to get new models including an Ultra variant tomorrow at an event in China. Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, Xiaomi has now confirmed the existence of another Redmi Note 10 series device – Redmi Note 10T. Xiaomi, earlier today, posted recruitment for the MIUI Global ROM testing program on its forum. The forum post had a mention of the Redmi Note 10T smartphone. This is not the first time we are hearing about the Redmi Note 10T. Last month, Redmi Note 10T moniker was spotted in MIUI codes as well.

The forum post suggests that the upcoming Redmi Note 10T will be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G. The Redmi Note 10 5G also relaunched as the POCO M3 Pro 5G under the POCO branding with a couple of minor changes under the hood. This is not the first time when Xiaomi is doing so, in fact, the Redmi 9 Power (in India) is called Redmi 9T in global markets, Redmi Note 9 4G in China, and is also available as POCO M3 under POCO branding (even in India).

The Note 10 5G offers a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. While, the other two sensors are 2MP depth, and 2MP macro sensors. The smartphone features an 8MP front shooter for selfies. It boots Android 11 based MIUI 12. The handset features a 5000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support over a Type-C port.

Redmi Note 10 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which also doubles as the power button. Similar to other Redmi devices, it also offers an IR sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack. We don’t know whether the device will launch in India or not, and what moniker will it carry if Xiaomi decided to launch it in the country. However, the POCO M3 Pro 5G is expected to launch in India.
