Motorola is reportedly working towards launching several new Moto G series smartphones. Last month we exclusively revealed the high-resolution renders of the Moto G Power 5G (2024). Now, it seems that the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand is gearing up to launch the successor of the Moto G 5G (2023).
While the launch timeline of the Moto G 5G (2024) is not known currently, we bring you the first look at the upcoming smartphone and some of the expected specifications. Here are the exclusive 5K renders and 360-degree video presented by MySmartPrice in collaboration with popular tipster OnLeaks.
Moto G 5G (2024) Confirmed To Come With Dual Cameras and 6.5-inch Display
As you can see in the gallery above, the Moto G 5G (2024) features a familiar design. We can see that the phone will feature the same slab-like design as its predecessor with flat sides and subtle curves on the edges to make it ergonomic to hold. It will have the same flat display panel with minimal bezels on three sides and a sizable chin.
The display panel has a center-mounted punch-hole cutout for the front camera. OnLeaks has confirmed that the Moto G 5G (2024) will come with a 6.5-inch display, which is the same as its predecessor. We can expect other display specs to be identical as well.
However, there’s one noticeable difference between the two devices. While both Moto G 5G (2023) and Moto G 5G (2024) come with a dual camera setup with an oblong LED flash on the side, the latter has a more modern look to it. The camera island on last year’s model was a rectangular unit with rounded corners. On the other hand, the Moto G 5G (2024) seems to be melding into the back panel and edges with subtle curvature.
In the renders, we can see that the Moto G 5G (2024) will feature power and volume buttons on the right edge, whereas the left edge will house the SIM tray. At the bottom, the Moto G 5G (2024) features a 3.5mm audio jack, mic, USB Type-C port, and speaker grille, whereas there is a singular mic on the top. OnLeaks has also confirmed that the smartphone will measure 164.4 x 74.9 x 8.2mm.
