Motorola recently launched the Moto G52 smartphone under its G-series. The brand appears to be gearing up to add a new smartphone to its budget lineup – the Moto G82 5G. The upcoming Moto G82 has already been spotted on several certification and benchmark websites including 3C, FCC, SIRIM, TDRA, and Geekbench. In the latest development, we have now spotted the upcoming Moto handset with the model number XT2225-2 on the TENAA certification website.

The appearance of Moto G82 5G on the TENAA does hint toward an imminent launch. The latest certification listing also reveals the design and key specifications of the Moto G82 5G. Let us take a closer look at the Moto G82 5G design and specifications.

The Moto G82 5G will offer a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The camera module design on the upcoming Moto handset appears to be exactly the same as recent handsets from the company. The right side of the device appears to have volume rockers and the power button. Along the left, a button can be seen which could be a dedicated Google Assistant button.

The latest listing reveals that the handset will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution. It will measure 160.8 × 74.4 × 7.9mm and weigh 178grams. The listing further reveals that the device will pack a 4700mAh (rated capacity) battery and will be offered in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB memory configurations.

The handset appears to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button. Earlier the Moto G82 was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark website with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and 8GB of RAM. The listing had also confirmed that the device will come pre-loaded with Android 12.

The upcoming Moto G82 5G will support 33W fast charging as revealed through the 3C listing.
