Nokia appears to be prepping up for the launch of a new G-series smartphone, the Nokia G22 soon. The upcoming Nokia G22 will arrive as a successor to the Nokia G21. In the Geekbench test result, the Nokia G22 has managed to pull off 308 points in the single-core test results, while it managed to score 1094 in the multi-core test results. As far as the specifications of the phone go, the handset will pack an octa-core 1.8GHz Unisoc T606 processor which will be paired with Mali-G57 GPU. Furthermore, the phone will pack 4GB of RAM. On the software side of things, the upcoming Nokia G22 will run Android 12 out of the box with stock Android UI on top.

The phone runs Android 11 OS and it also has microSD card support for storage expansion beyond 128GB. The device features a triple-camera setup on the back. The camera module includes a 50MP main camera, and a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera units. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the device relies on a 8MP camera.

The handset packs a 5,050mAh battery which offers 18W fast charging support. The handset is priced at Rs 12,999 in India, and it comes in Dusk and Nordic Blue colour options.
